Sr. Specialist - Business Data Services 4D

Overview

Support, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and data models that integrate with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, the Azure Data Platform and other enterprise data sources, within a live production managed support team.

What you'll do

• Manage existing Power BI reports, datasets and workspaces under the AMS (Application Managed Services) model.
• Troubleshoot data refresh issues, access permissions and report performance problems.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI service capacity and gateway configurations.
• Implement enhancements to existing dashboards and develop new analytics solutions based on business requests.
• Ensure best practices for DAX queries, data modeling and report performance optimization.
• Manage report lifecycle: development, testing, deployment and change control.
• Connect Power BI to Dynamics 365 (Finance & SCM), Dataverse, Azure SQL, Data Lake and Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes and data quality improvements.
• Work with functional and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into interactive and insightful reports.
• Provide user training, documentation and usage governance support.
• Follow organizational standards for data security, environment management and Power BI workspace governance.
• Support periodic audits, data refresh schedules and version control in alignment with AMS processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or Master's degree in Data Science.
• Intermediate English language proficiency (B1).
• Required skills: Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Excel, Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Agile Methodology, Change Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Design Thinking, Storytelling, Client Relations, Collaboration Tools, Modernizing Operations, Oracle DRM, Veeva, People Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, Executive Presence and Inclusion.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Certified Compliance Officer (CCO), Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Informatica Certified Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
