Overview
Presales Solutions Architect for Application Managed Services (AMS) who leads solution design, customer engagements, and technical/commercial proposal work for enterprise applications.
What you'll do
- Lead discovery workshops, application assessments, and requirements gathering with business and IT stakeholders.
- Analyze current application portfolios, support models, operational challenges, technical debt, and transformation opportunities.
- Develop target-state architectures, service delivery models, governance frameworks, transition plans, and operational playbooks.
- Build pricing models, effort estimates, TCO assessments, and ROI analyses for AMS engagements.
- Lead technical responses for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and create proposal deliverables such as solution narratives and implementation roadmaps.
- Assess modernization opportunities and recommend transformation strategies including cloud, microservices, APIs, and DevSecOps.
What you'll need
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in Presales, Solution Architecture, Consulting, or Managed Services.
- Experience designing and positioning large-scale AMS engagements.
- Experience supporting enterprise pursuits, strategic deals, and RFP responses.
- Strong collaboration and executive presentation skills.
- BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience combination).
