Principal Civil Engineer

Overview

Lead civil and structural engineering teams and projects as a technical specialist across conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases. Resolve complex engineering issues independently and oversee the quality and compliance of civil engineering deliverables.

What you'll do

• Provide technical supervision and coordinate civil engineering teams.
• Lead civil engineering scopes across project design phases.
• Prepare and review structural and civil analyses, reports, and calculations.
• Review and approve engineering documents and vendor submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, other disciplines, and site teams.
• Conduct technical quality audits and maintain engineering documentation.
• Support estimates, design clarifications, technical decisions, and site issue resolution.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience with a major contractor or consultant, predominantly on EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Expertise in EPC delivery for complex civil and structural projects.
• Strong experience with STAADPro, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
• Experience designing substations, control room buildings, pile foundations, cable trenches, and pull pits.
• Knowledge of applicable EMEA engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and project coordination skills.

• Travel throughout EMEA and internationally as required.
