What you'll do
- Architect, code, and deploy complex software solutions integrating mathematical algorithms and machine learning models.
- Identify, prototype, and scale research ideas across airline, agency automation, and travel domain use cases.
- Design end-to-end AI systems integrating large language models for automated agency support and conversational commerce.
- Optimize GDS workflows and migrate legacy automation logic into modern, GCP-based AI architectures.
- Define MLOps standards and AI lifecycle policies for high-fidelity model performance.
- Use Python and Go best practices to refactor prototypes into production-quality, low-latency systems.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
What you'll need
- Minimum 10 years of related experience in data science, AI engineering, or operations research.
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or physics.
- Experience moving complex models from research to global production.
- Expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and NLP.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for compute-intensive, latency-sensitive tasks.
- Experience processing high-volume, real-time data from GDS, OTA, and airline sources.
- Knowledge of GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML), MLOps tools, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to have
- Travel industry domain knowledge across areas such as airline revenue management or departure control systems.
