Principal Database Programmer

Overview

Principal Database Programmer to manage programming for clinical databases and applications across the study lifecycle. Full-time permanent role supporting European operations and delivered fully remotely from European locations.

What you'll do

• Manage database programming activities including development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support from study start to post database lock.
• Build, develop, test, and validate programs and clinical databases for client-related projects and third-party applications.
• Provide system administration and advanced technical support for internal applications and clinical databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and clinical database problems.
• Provide planning estimates for scope, schedules/timelines, forecasting, and resource requirements.
• Lead operational study team/programming team responsibilities for assigned studies and study programs.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Strong experience in Oncology; autoimmune disease experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Rave and Veeva.
• Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in object oriented programming (e.g., C#, C++, VBS).
• Proficiency in more than one CDMS system including form building, edit checks, and complex rule development.
