Principal Engineer - Architect

Overview

Principal Engineer - Architect to lead R&D and drive in-depth technology and software/solution architecture for industrial software.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable cloud-native and edge-enabled industrial software using microservices.
• Drive end-to-end product development from requirements analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Define and govern application, data, integration, and security architectures across cloud and edge environments.
• Lead major technology initiatives with technical direction, mentorship, and architectural oversight.
• Translate business requirements with product management, R&D teams, and stakeholders into technical solutions.
• Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and distributed-systems availability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
• Champion secure-by-design approaches and compliance with industrial security standards.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C#/.NET/.NET Core and modern web technologies.
• Strong expertise in microservices, distributed systems, and software architecture patterns.
• Experience with IoT solution design using REST APIs, WebSocket, MQTT, or AMQP.
• Hands-on container and edge orchestration experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, MicroShift, K3s).
• Strong cloud-native experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP for Industrial IoT, preferably with Azure IoT Hub or AWS IoT Core.
• Deep security knowledge including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Zero Trust, PKI, and secure edge deployments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
