Overview
Software Architect to design and oversee development of robust, scalable, secure software solutions for Nispera, a unified APM monitoring platform for renewable energy and storage assets.
What you'll do
- Define and communicate the architecture roadmap, technical standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Translate product vision and business strategy into a technology roadmap aligned to revenue, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee enterprise and cloud system design and implementation using controls architecture, backend services, cloud-native technologies, and microservices.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and coaching to software engineers and development teams.
- Lead efforts to reduce technical debt and drive adoption of modern development practices such as CI/CD.
- Ensure reliability, performance, security, and compliance, embedding privacy and regulatory compliance into platform design.
What you'll need
- 12+ years in software development, including at least 5 years in an architectural role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong skills in system design including domain boundaries, data modeling, API design, eventing/queues, and caching.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise software projects and large-scale SaaS platforms focused on scalability and reliability.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (CDK/Terraform), Git workflows, and automated testing.
- Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong communication skills across cross-functional and international teams.
- Ability to mentor team members on architecture and technical development.
