Senior Software Developer

Overview

Senior Software Developer for Takeda’s Donor Information System (DIS) team within the Plasma-Derived Therapies business unit, building modern enterprise applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable microservices and distributed systems for DIS capabilities across the donor lifecycle.
• Build full-stack features using C#, .NET Core APIs, and front-end frameworks such as Angular/React.
• Create event-driven, real-time components using Kafka and AWS messaging services (SQS/SNS) or similar frameworks.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, observability, auditability, and compliance needs.
• Support system intelligence improvements using AI/ML fundamentals and data-driven enhancements.
• Contribute to reliability via unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and incident root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience in software development with .NET Core, C#, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Front-end experience with HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular/React.
• Experience with DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices, including SonaType, JFROG, DAST, SonarCloud, and CodeQL.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
