Principal Engineer Software (Developer Platforms) – NetSec

Overview

Principal Software Engineer for Developer Platforms (NetSec), responsible for engineering productivity and developer platforms that improve commit-deploy workflows and CI/CD.

What you’ll do

• Implement infrastructure, tools, and frameworks to keep developers aligned across the commit-deploy pipeline.
• Partner with engineering teams to build solutions that improve developer efficiency and productivity.
• Design, build, and maintain automation tools for development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Simplify CI pipelines to improve visibility and speed up issue insights.
• Drive an AI-first architecture for an AI-native product lifecycle.

What you’ll need

• Minimum of 9 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of engineering productivity tools and platforms.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with build frameworks, configuration management, infrastructure as code, and secrets management.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++, Go, or Node.js).
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, system design, and building AI agents.
