Principal Power & Performance Validation Engineer leading power, thermal, and performance validation for advanced AI compute silicon and systems.

What you'll do

• Define and lead validation strategies for power, thermal, and performance characterization.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of validation engineers with technical guidance and career development.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute power/thermal/performance validation across multiple projects.
• Develop validation plans for functional, stress, workload, and corner-case scenarios.
• Drive post-silicon bring-up and characterization for power and performance.
• Build Python-based automation, regression, and reporting infrastructure for validation.
• Benchmark and analyze power/thermal/performance data to identify bottlenecks and improvements.

What you'll need

• Experience in power and performance validation, silicon characterization, or system performance engineering.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams in a technical environment.
• Deep understanding of modern SoC architecture (CPU, memory, interconnect, high-speed I/O).
• Linux systems knowledge and low-level performance analysis experience.
• Strong Python skills for automation and data analysis.
• Benchmarking/profiling tools experience (stress-ng, fio, perf, iperf or equivalents).
• Ability to apply structured validation methodologies and interpret large datasets.
