Principal Professional Services Consultant - Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW)

Overview

Principal Professional Services Consultant responsible for the architecture, engineering, and deployment of enterprise Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions.

What you'll do

• Design HLD and LLD architectures for global firewall deployments across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud.
• Run technical workshops with enterprise clients to align requirements to secure network architectures.
• Architect Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), micro-segmentation, and threat protection frameworks.
• Oversee end-to-end deployment of NGFW clusters, Panorama management, and GlobalProtect infrastructure.
• Lead complex multi-vendor firewall migrations using scripting and migration tools.
• Serve as escalation point for critical P1/P2 issues and troubleshoot using deep packet inspection and routing (BGP, OSPF).
• Mentor consultants and establish SOPs and deployment templates.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network security architecture and engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Panorama, App-ID, User-ID, SSL Decryption, and Threat Prevention configurations.
• Extensive experience securing multi-cloud perimeters and public cloud networking.
• Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, TCP/IP fundamentals, and packet-level analysis.
• PCNSE certification (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) is required.

Nice to have

• PCNSC or PCSAE certifications are highly desired.
