Principal Software Engineer

Overview

Principal Software Engineer responsible for architecting and implementing complex software solutions and driving technical excellence as a senior technical leader and individual contributor.

What you'll do

• Provide technical feasibility and evaluation based on business needs.
• Provide technical leadership through design finalization, code reviews, and resolving production support and maintenance issues.
• Lead design and implementation of critical software components and systems.
• Mentor technical members of the team.
• Contribute to coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap.
• Perform hands-on coding, domain modeling designs, and production on-call duties.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated principal or lead level experience.
• 10+ years of expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Cloud Native technologies (including 2+ years in a lead or principal capacity).
• Designed, developed, and maintained a complex software solution involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AWS/EKS and SQL/NoSQL platforms.
• Deep knowledge of software development process in distributed multi-geo team environments.
• Hands-on experience in domain-driven modeling and API development.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and oral).

• Work location: Nationwide Remote.
• Remote/hybrid requirement to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection.
• May be required to work in office if home work environment/internet is inadequate.
