Overview
Principal Software Engineer to design and build cloud-managed endpoint security client applications for Android and iOS.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, maintain, and release Android and iOS client applications.
- Occasionally develop desktop applications.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using C/C++, Kotlin, Java, Swift, and Objective-C.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and product managers to deliver responsive user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure stability and reliability across platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions and contribute to engineering best practices.
What you'll need
- Solid computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, memory management, cryptography, networking, and system programming.
- 10+ years of experience in client-side software development for mobile OS platforms including Android and iOS.
- Experience with a JNI bridge connecting the app layer to the native engine.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TLS/SSL, tunneling protocols (PPP, ESP, WireGuard), DNS, and proxies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across multiple languages and environments.
