Principal Software engineer

Overview

Principal Software Engineer providing technical and procedural direction on the design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's software development, working with no supervision in a complex environment.

What you'll do

• Provide technical and procedural direction on the design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's software development.
• Contribute to the development of functional strategy.
• Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
• Coach and advise other engineers.
• Be responsible for external contractors and consultants.
• Define the process by which software is designed and developed.
• Recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.
• Influence business decisions made by leadership.
• Communicate with executive leadership on matters of strategic importance.

What you'll need

• Typically a degree and significant experience in technology or business related functions.
• Technical level experience.
• Ability to interface with all levels of users.
