Overview

Lead architecture and technical strategy for India-owned parts of a large-scale healthcare data platform. This hands-on individual contributor role covers data ingestion, processing, storage, serving, governance, and observability.

What you'll do

Define architecture across the data platform lifecycle.
Set multi-platform technical strategy and sequencing.
Develop critical designs and prototypes.
Review designs and address severe production problems.
Resolve cross-team technical disagreements and document decisions.
Establish architecture governance.
Mentor engineers and support hiring and interview calibration.

What you'll need

10 to 16 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Architecture ownership across multiple teams or platforms.
Deep expertise in large-scale distributed data systems.
Hands-on coding and detailed design review experience.
Experience executing adopted technical strategy.
Ability to influence senior engineering and product leadership across geographies and time zones.

Nice to have

Healthcare data, clinical informatics, or regulated-domain experience.
Experience as the most senior individual contributor at a site or within a platform organization.
Experience hiring and calibrating senior engineering talent.
Experience with privacy, security, or compliance architecture at scale.
