Overview
Principal Software Engineer (Rust) to develop and maintain core infrastructure for an AI platform.
What you'll do
- Design and develop foundational components and frameworks for an Agentic AI platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build platform solutions for developers.
- Work with ML engineers to support infrastructure for ML workflows.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and address performance or scalability issues.
- Stay current with design patterns, techniques, and technologies relevant to developer platforms and frameworks.
What you'll need
- Expert-level Rust programming language experience.
- US Citizenship or a Green Card is required for US Government contract requirements.
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and maintain a home address there.
- 15+ years of software and platform engineering experience.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience in database architecture and scalable data systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Startup experience or comfort in 0→1 product environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment.
Details
- Work mode: Remote USA.
- Compensation: $270,000 to $320,000 USD.
