Overview
Provide senior solution leadership for Supply Chain Finance and Costing, including Intercompany, as GE HealthCare migrates from Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud. Shape global design decisions and guide scalable solutions across costing, inventory accounting, supply chain finance, intercompany trade, transfer pricing, and related Record-to-Report processes.
What you'll do
- Act as the design authority for Supply Chain Finance and Costing, defining target-state processes and solution architecture for cost management, inventory accounting, and intercompany.
- Define integrations with Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management, Procurement, Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, and enterprise reporting.
- Advise Finance, Controllership, Tax, Supply Chain, and business leaders on leading practices and challenge current ways of working where processes should change.
- Define future-state processes for standard costing, cost elements, overheads, cost accounting distributions, COGS, inventory valuation, manufacturing and purchase price variances, and period-end cost accounting.
- Design and govern trade and non-trade intercompany scenarios, including sales and purchases, internal requisition and internal sales order flows, transfer pricing, markups, cost-plus arrangements, profit in inventory, eliminations, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Evaluate Oracle standard functionality, configuration, extensions, and alternative approaches; own design decisions, fit-gap assessments, process controls, and trade-offs.
- Provide application expertise through configuration review, setup validation, prototyping, and conference-room pilots.
- Assess how configuration choices affect accounting, controls, integrations, reporting, and operational processes.
- Lead requirements decomposition and produce functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and accounting requirements.
- Guide technical and integration teams on functional flows, accounting events, data, error handling, and reconciliation.
- Drive testing across system integration, user acceptance, regression, conversion validation, cutover, and hypercare.
- Support R12-to-Fusion migration, including legacy process assessment, data conversion, reconciliation, coexistence, and retirement of redundant customizations.
- Own the solution beyond go-live, including stabilization, Oracle quarterly-release impact assessment, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching, facilitate decisions across workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.

- 10+ years of experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, or manufacturing finance, including ERP implementations.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in standard, actual, and average costing, overhead absorption, variance analysis, inventory valuation, COGS, manufacturing and procurement accounting, and period-end cost close.
- Led or held a principal design role in at least three end-to-end ERP implementations across at least two different industries, covering costing, inventory, or supply chain finance.
- Ability to advise business stakeholders on alternative process models and leading practices and influence design decisions beyond what any single platform offers.
- Working expertise in Oracle Fusion Cost Management and supply chain touchpoints, Subledger Accounting, and Intercompany, or Oracle E-Business Suite R12 equivalents.
- Ability to validate configuration, run fit-gap assessments, and explain accounting, control, reporting, and integration impacts.
- Experience designing costing and inventory accounting solutions for a complex, global manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of intercompany trade, transfer pricing, and cross-entity inventory movements and their accounting and reconciliation implications across AR, AP, Inventory, Costing, and GL.
