Principal/ Sr Principal Backend Engineer

Overview

Principal/Sr Principal Backend Engineer responsible for architecting and building scalable backend infrastructure for SaaS products. The role leads complex technical projects and contributes to architecture, implementation, and team mentorship.

What you'll do

• Architect and build backend features end to end.
• Lead and contribute to large-scale technical projects.
• Drive architectural decisions and technology implementation.
• Collaborate with Product Management and distributed Engineering teams.
• Mentor and coach team members on engineering practices.
• Contribute to technical forums, conferences, and open-source communities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 18 years of experience building scalable backends for product or SaaS companies.
• Experience leading and delivering complex technical projects.
• Proficiency in Golang.
• Experience designing APIs using gRPC, REST, GraphQL, or Thrift.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, scaling, and stateless architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and leadership skills.
