Principal Technical Architect

Overview

Own solution architecture for Professional Services engagements, designing scalable enterprise applications and agentic systems for customer needs.

What you'll do

• Design, size, and validate scalable enterprise architectures.
• Architect agentic systems with guardrails, evaluations, and orchestration patterns.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable OutSystems applications and agents.
• Define and review reusable architecture patterns.
• Assess application performance and prescribe modernization improvements.
• Identify non-functional requirements, integrations, and shared standards.
• Mentor customer, partner, and OutSystems teams on architecture practices.

What you'll need

• 10 years of software development experience.
• 4 years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong architecture design, delivery, and performance troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience designing AI solutions, including LLM applications, MCP, RAG, or model orchestration.
• Experience with .NET, C#, SQL, and modern web technologies.

• Remote in the United States.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.
• Base salary: $153,000–$186,300 yearly.
