Process Manager - Product Owner, MDM

Overview

Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for First Citizens India's Unified Master Data Management (UMDM) platform, driving delivery of trusted Customer, Relationship and Reference Data across the enterprise.

What you'll do

• Own the UMDM product roadmap and align delivery objectives with FCB's data strategy.
• Define and prioritize capabilities supporting Customer and Party Master Data, Relationship Management, Reference Data Management, and Data Quality and Data Governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process simplification and data standardization.
• Own and prioritize the MDM product backlog, developing Epics, Features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Balance competing priorities across business units and technology teams, and drive backlog grooming and prioritization sessions.
• Define requirements for golden record creation, match and merge rules, survivorship rules, hierarchy management, party models, external identifier management, address management, data stewardship workflows, UI for users, C360 mandatory columns, and batch and real-time integration.
• Partner with architects to evolve the enterprise customer data model and ensure alignment between source systems, UMDM and downstream consumers.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance teams to define business data quality rules and data standards.
• Oversee implementation of MDM and DQ services including CDQ, Address Validation and external data providers such as D&B.
• Partner with Collibra and Data Governance teams to ensure data lineage, metadata management and policy compliance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to data quality, completeness, accuracy and duplicate reduction.
• Facilitate workshops or participate in requirements gathering with Product Owners, Business Users, Data Stewards and Technology teams.
• Present updates, risks and metrics to leadership, manage delivery expectations and drive decision-making.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives, and provide clarifications to development and testing teams.
• Review completed stories and approve business acceptance; ensure business value is delivered for sprints and program.
• Define UAT scope and acceptance criteria, support SIT, regression testing and production validation, and validate parity testing between source systems and UMDM.
• Ensure releases meet business requirements and sign off on production deployments and post-release validation.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in Data Management or Enterprise Data Programs.
• 5+ years in Product Owner, Lead Business Analyst, Product Manager, or MDM leadership roles.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Customer or Party Master Data Management solutions.
• Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, or Risk Management environments.
• Experience managing distributed and offshore delivery teams.
• Strong experience with Informatica Multidomain MDM / UMDM.
• Strong experience with Customer 360 and Party Data Models.
• Strong experience with Onboarding Data.
• Strong experience with Match and Merge Configuration and Survivorship Rules.
• Strong experience with Hierarchies and Relationships, Data Stewardship, Golden Record Management and Regulatory Data Requirements.
• Competencies: product ownership, requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, data governance, enterprise data architecture, data modeling concepts, data integration patterns, metadata and lineage, data quality reporting and analytics enablement, cross-functional collaboration, communication, decision making.

Nice to have

• Experience with Informatica MDM, Informatica IDMC and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Experience with CDQ Validation Services and D&B data integration.
• Experience with Collibra, Oracle and SQL databases, data lake and analytics platforms, and APIs and event-driven architectures.
