Product Engineer - AI Finance

Overview

Product Engineer (AI Finance) to own product areas within BJAK’s AI Finance, from defining direction to launching and iterating with engineering and design.

What you'll do

• Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, or other financial services.
• Define user problems, product scope, success metrics, roadmap, and launch plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business teams.
• Turn complex financial products into simple, usable customer journeys.
• Improve product decisions using data, feedback, research, and production issues.
• Launch features, monitor performance, and drive iterations.
• Make trade-offs across speed, user experience, business impact, compliance, and operational complexity.

What you'll need

• Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, founder, growth/product operator, or similar.
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows.
• Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship real products.
• Comfort with metrics, user feedback, experiments, and post-launch learning.
• Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• High ownership and ability to drive work with limited guidance.

• Remote role with requirement that candidates are based in Netherlands.
• Primary working language is English; strong English communication is required.
