Staff Field Engineer | Netherlands | Remote

Overview

Lead complex technical engagements as a Staff Field Engineer, supporting strategic deals, advising customers, and scaling field enablement for Grafana technologies.

What you'll do

• Advise on strategic deals and complex customer technical challenges.
• Build reference architectures and address competitive objections.
• Create and maintain workshops, guides, and demo scripts.
• Architect and maintain production environments for demos, workshops, and POVs.
• Influence product direction and surface enablement gaps.
• Present at marketing events and represent Field Engineering.
• Mentor Senior and Staff Solution Engineers and Field Engineers.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of related technical experience.
• 2+ years as a Senior Field Engineer or equivalent.
• Subject Matter Expert depth in at least one Grafana Platform area.
• Working knowledge of observability technologies including Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Elastic, Splunk, or Datadog.
• Experience creating product training assets adopted by a technical field organization.
• Experience with programming, Linux, software development lifecycle practices, and AI coding tools.
• Ability to architect cloud applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP and tools such as Terraform.

Nice to have

• Open source software development experience.

Details

• Remote role in the Netherlands.
• OTE compensation is EUR 137,000–165,000 yearly.
• Roles include Restricted Stock Units.
