Product Engineering Manager (Data Products)

Overview

Product Engineering Manager for Data Products, owning the lifecycle of trusted data products on a lakehouse platform and acting as a bridge between business consumers and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Define and own the data product roadmap aligned to business priorities and OKRs.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify, capture, and prioritize data product requirements.
• Develop data product specifications, including schemas, SLAs, access controls, and documentation.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of data products.
• Establish and track KPIs for data product usage, quality, and business value delivered.
• Manage the data product catalog and metadata to enable discoverability and self-service.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in a product management, data management, or analytics role.
• 3+ years managing data products in a modern data lakehouse or data warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
