Job description
Overview
Product Engineering Manager for Data Products, owning the lifecycle of trusted data products on a lakehouse platform and acting as a bridge between business consumers and technical teams.
What you'll do
- Define and own the data product roadmap aligned to business priorities and OKRs.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, capture, and prioritize data product requirements.
- Develop data product specifications, including schemas, SLAs, access controls, and documentation.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of data products.
- Establish and track KPIs for data product usage, quality, and business value delivered.
- Manage the data product catalog and metadata to enable discoverability and self-service.
What you'll need
- 7+ years in a product management, data management, or analytics role.
- 3+ years managing data products in a modern data lakehouse or data warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL proficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
