Product Lead - Opterra - Management & General Accounting

Overview

Product Lead role for building and evolving the core accounting product offering in a cross-functional product team.

What you'll do

• Carry product/feature work from concept through creation.
• Brainstorm product/feature ideas and define value propositions.
• Translate vision into product roadmap and feature specifications through domain deep dives.
• Collaborate with engineers/architects from specification to design to product implementation.
• Prepare business test cases/beds and evaluate in-flight progress against specifications and vision.
• Prepare prototypes using Python and AI, and manage risks/assumptions.
• Conduct competitor analysis and escalate/mitigate execution risks.

What you'll need

• 4+ years experience in front, middle, and/or back-office work.
• 2+ years product management experience.
• Familiarity with Java concepts to communicate with development.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• General knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working closely with engineers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
