Product Lifecycle & Documentation Engineer

Overview

Responsible for creating and managing engineering documentation for certification and product development, including technical drawings, BOM structures, and INAIL-related materials.

What you'll do

• Prepare and manage INAIL certification drawings for prototype assembly and burst testing components.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP and HVPLM systems.
• Develop and maintain 2D technical drawings in CREO, including data upload and configuration management in Windchill (HVPLM).
• Evaluate and design simple mechanical components based on engineering requirements and enclosure flange drawings.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards, drawing management guidelines, and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain data accuracy.

What you'll need

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• 4 to 5 years of experience.
• Experience with engineering management systems such as SAP and HVPLM.
• Proficiency in CREO for creating and updating technical drawings.
• Good understanding of BOM creation, maintenance, and engineering documentation processes.
• Familiarity with INAIL certification documentation and drawing requirements (preferred).
