Senior Associate Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, development, release, and lifecycle support of COCOE components, including Film GP, Paint GP, Label GP, Shipping Covers, Plug GP, Cover GP, EAC-related components, and associated engineering documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop and release COCOE component designs using Creo and Teamcenter.
• Support NPI, CPI, NSI, and current product engineering activities.
• Execute design reviews, engineering changes, and PMO milestones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, procurement, and validation teams.
• Resolve field, factory, and supplier issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement, localization, cost reduction, and first time right releases.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in product design and development.
• Proficiency in Creo, Teamcenter, and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansys, FMEA, and NPI execution.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.
• Experience supporting current product and engineering change activities.
• Experience with heat shields or wraps.

Details

• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
• Onsite five working days a week from office.
• Relocation is available for this position.
