Senior Engineer - IT

Overview

Senior Engineer - IT supporting MES application development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of new application and reporting solutions, working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and IT teams.

What you'll do

• Develop, build, test and deploy applications, and create and execute test plans.
• Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions, preparing design proposals with cost and timeline considerations.
• Recommend improvements for development and maintenance, and support system upgrades and optimizations.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with IT standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and train users during implementation.
• Support deployment and troubleshooting to ensure smooth system rollout in production.

What you'll need

• Typically a bachelor's degree and around 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience handling MES applications and integration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems and traceability solutions and applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience in report development in Power BI, SSRS and other tools.
• Understanding of SDLC and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and support projects.
