Product Manager II, Financial Data

Overview

Product Manager II responsible for financial data generation and presentation, including taxonomy, data standards, documentation, and scalable frameworks for AI-compatible financial datasets.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the financial data taxonomy across metrics, accounting standards, statements, and reporting patterns.
• Define financial data generation rules across sectors and data types.
• Document financial data standards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Align engineering, research, product, sales, and client-facing teams on data rules.
• Identify and resolve gaps and inconsistencies in new companies, metrics, and datasets.
• Define requirements and use cases for new financial datasets beyond the core statements.
• Build AI- and LLM-compatible data structures, frameworks, and processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related analytical field.
• At least 5 years of experience with data structures, taxonomy, or data governance.
• At least 2 years in product management or a closely adjacent cross-functional role.
• Understanding of financial data and capital markets.
• Experience translating complex data challenges into structured, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM tools.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.

• Remote in the United States.
• Base compensation: $128,000–$176,000 USD yearly.
