Overview
Senior Technical Consultant to lead enterprise customers' modernization of Adobe Campaign Classic or Adobe Campaign Standard campaign and customer-journey programs onto Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
What you'll do
- Lead discovery workshops with marketing, campaign operations, data, architecture, security, mobile and IT stakeholders.
- Inventory the Campaign estate: use cases, assets, data, and infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer custom logic and document business rules.
- Map each use case and dependency to an AJO/AEP target pattern and classify it as reuse, redesign, rebuild, integrate, defer, or retain elsewhere.
- Choose the execution path per use case (AJO Journeys, Orchestrated Campaigns, or action campaigns) and document the rationale and license prerequisites.
- Surface product-fit gaps and operational impacts before committing to scope or feature-parity claims.
- Develop phased roadmaps, effort estimates, dependency plans, risks, and customer decision points.
- Design the AEP foundation: XDM schemas and field groups, identity namespaces and resolution, datasets, ingestion, data quality and governance, audience segmentation, and Query Service processing.
- Design customer experiences and build AJO journeys and campaigns across batch and event-driven engagement.
- Apply journey and campaign governance and optimization: business rules, frequency capping, quiet hours, arbitration, wave sending, and experimentation.
- Configure AJO channels end to end, including email, push, in-app, web, SMS/MMS, RCS, WhatsApp, LINE and direct mail.
- Connect messaging providers, including native SMS providers, bring-your-own-provider setups and Channel Builder custom channels.
- Design and build integrations and custom actions that call external systems, with authentication, throttling, retries and error handling.
- Design and build profile-centric Journeys and relational Orchestrated Campaigns, including data models, CDC ingestion, canvases and multi-level sending.
- Migrate data, logic and personalization, including relational data, consent and suppression, workflows, content templates, transactional flows, offer logic and web forms.
- Establish delivery practices with Git version control, sandbox strategy, release management, and requirements-traceable testing.
- Plan dual-run and cutover, deliverability readiness and email domain migration, and rebuild reporting and tracking.
- Define launch acceptance criteria, support go-live and stabilization, and hand over documentation and runbooks while coaching customer teams.
