Product Owner

Overview

Serve as an independent Product Owner for Core Banking applications, owning assigned backlogs and sprint-level feature delivery. Translate requirements into actionable stories and coordinate with product, development, implementation, customer-facing, and support teams.

What you'll do

• Own and manage the backlog for assigned modules and features.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business value and Product Management guidance.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Clarify requirements for development teams and maintain sprint readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, implementation consultants, and customer-facing teams.
• Validate delivered features and support testing, defect triage, and release readiness.

What you'll need

• Ability to own and maintain a product backlog.
• Ability to analyse functional, system, and data requirements.
• Ability to decompose high-level requirements into actionable backlog items.
• Ability to define and validate acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work with Agile delivery ceremonies and Definition of Ready and Done.
• Ability to support testing and defect triaging.
