Professional Services Engineer

Overview

Deliver technical implementation, consulting, optimization, and customer enablement for DDN high-performance data infrastructure. Support customers from planning and installation through performance tuning, knowledge transfer, and ongoing optimization.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute installations, upgrades, expansions, migrations, and system health checks.
• Install hardware, including rack-and-stack, cabling, power-on, and health checks.
• Install and configure DDN storage, EXAScaler file systems, DDN Insight, and related software.
• Configure file systems, connectivity, authentication, networking, monitoring, and high availability.
• Benchmark, analyze, and tune performance and assess capacity or infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating-system, networking, file-system, and performance issues.
• Coordinate escalations and technical resolution with Support and Engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, storage, systems administration, data-centre operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on Linux systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise storage, HPC, AI, or high-performance computing environments.
• Understanding of IP networking, Ethernet, InfiniBand, or other high-speed interconnects.
• Experience with Lustre, NFS, or parallel file systems such as GPFS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and methodical troubleshooting ability.

• Remote in Australia.
• Travel to customer sites is required when needed.
