Project & Billing Operations Associate

Overview

The Project & Billing Operations Associate will support ClearView’s Finance team and work on global invoicing, billing operations, and accounts receivable activities. The role reports to the Senior Finance Manager and is based in Gurgaon.

What you'll do

• Create and submit client invoices based on project milestones and statements of work/contracts/purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project leadership to collect and organize project documentation and validate invoice timing/amount.
• Process client payments by applying cash to accounts receivable and occasionally handling physical checks.
• Support accounts receivable collection by researching/reconciling past transactions and aiding dispute resolution.
• Coordinate client communication on payment instructions, bank account logistics, and outstanding payments.
• Support reconciliation across systems and provide documentation to external auditors for annual audit needs.
• Assist with month-end/year-end close activities related to revenue recognition, billing reconciliations, and AR reporting.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory.
• At least five years of prior experience in invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple open items.
• Clear professional written and verbal communication to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with business/finance software.
• Salesforce experience is mandatory; NetSuite is good to have.
• Ability to work out of the Gurgaon office 50% of the time.
