Overview
Project Engineer to develop and deliver end-to-end manufacturing solutions from concept through industrialisation, leading technical projects and collaborating with customers and internal teams.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing projects from concept through implementation, meeting scope, quality, timelines, cost, and customer expectations.
- Analyse manufacturing processes and translate customer needs into machining and tooling strategies.
- Use CAD/CAM and simulation tools to optimise processes, proposals, validation, and project documentation.
- Coordinate customers, sales teams, technical partners, and internal specialists across the project lifecycle.
- Support proposals, validation, reporting, project governance, and continuous improvement.
- Champion safety, environmental compliance, and follow company policies while supporting risk management and audits.
- Analyse trial and customer data and communicate impact using metrics like tool life and cycle time.
What you'll need
- 5–7 years of experience in production or mechanical engineering, technical application support, industrial sales, or customer-facing project delivery.
- Strong machining expertise across turning, milling, drilling, cutting-tool applications, and process optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM, manufacturing simulation, and programming for 2-, 3-, and 5-axis machines including multitasking machines.
- Experience leading technical projects and defining machining or tooling methodology from concept through implementation.
- Digital confidence with CRM, Microsoft 365, project tools, dashboards, and technical reporting.
- Fluent written and spoken English with effective presentation and report-writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing/mechanical engineering (or equivalent relevant industry experience).

- Travel: willing to travel domestically and internationally; valid passport required.
