Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer responsible for planning and controlling civil engineering and construction projects from baseline development through close-out. The role coordinates stakeholders and monitors scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and statutory requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead project baseline development, including scope breakdown, sequencing, scheduling, cost planning, and resource loading.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities within integrated project schedules.
• Conduct planning review meetings and monitor critical paths, variances, and approved changes.
• Track project progress using earned value metrics, dashboards, and MIS tools.
• Track long-lead items, vendor timelines, and material delivery schedules.
• Conduct site visits to validate progress, productivity, and construction sequencing.
• Prepare schedules, look-ahead programs, progress reports, S-curves, recovery schedules, and risk registers.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of project management experience in large-scale commercial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of project planning, cost control, contract administration, and construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools such as MSP or Primavera.
• Experience with MIS and reporting systems.
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
