Project Leader

Overview

Lead medium- to high-complexity clinical trials or low-complexity clinical trial programs, managing study execution, client relationships, budgets, timelines, quality, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Lead clinical trials or clinical trial programs from planning through closeout.
• Develop project plans covering milestones, budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
• Manage study-level client relationships and communication standards.
• Oversee profitability, forecasting, resource management, and scope changes.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and maintain accountability for study completion.
• Represent Project Leadership in client meetings, bids, investigator meetings, and conferences.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in clinical research, healthcare, or a regulated environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a science or medical-related field.
• Advanced project management experience in healthcare, clinical research, or a contract research organization.
• Experience developing and managing project-level client relationships.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project planning software, and clinical research systems including CTMS, EDC, IXRS, and TMF.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience managing different trial phases and program-level responsibilities.
