Project Manager

Overview

Lead technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle within the Commercial Engineering team, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations to deliver projects on time, within budget, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Ensure successful delivery of technology projects throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities, objectives, and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, QA, Business Teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and leadership.
• Support and promote Agile delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and project governance activities.
• Help teams remove blockers and drive continuous delivery of business value.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Proactively resolve challenges that may impact project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation, governance processes, RAID logs, and change management controls.
• Deliver regular project status reports, milestone tracking, executive dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and team collaboration.
• Drive operational efficiencies and promote best practices across project teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6-10 years of project management experience delivering technology or software projects.
• Experience managing projects across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risks.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technology and business functions.
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Project Plans, RAID Logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), Status Reports, and Governance Documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience presenting project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to commercial engineering, software product development, or enterprise technology platforms.
• Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience developing executive dashboards and project metrics.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
• Experience working in global, geographically distributed teams.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India (Bengaluru).
• Hybrid work model: 2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role.
• Flexible work arrangements include work from anywhere for up to 8 weeks per year.
