Property Adjuster - Field Estimating - Kennesaw, GA

Overview

Conduct on-site property inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims for policyholders, with a focus on water losses. The role also handles virtual claims nationwide.

What you'll do

• Travel to customers’ homes to inspect property damage.
• Investigate claims and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Prepare estimates using Xactimate and related platforms.
• Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, carriers, and claimants.
• Communicate claim updates by phone, email, and video.
• Document claim activity accurately and promptly in the claims system.
• Handle virtual claims using ClaimsX Video Collaboration and other tools.

What you'll need

• Three years of outside-adjuster experience is preferred.
• Three to five years of construction experience is highly desired.
• Proficiency with Xactimate and estimating software.
• Strong critical-thinking and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs up to a 6/12 pitch.

Nice to have

• Applicable active insurance or appraiser licenses.

Details

• Location: Georgia, United States; residency within the posted location is mandatory.
• Remote role with travel to customers’ homes and approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas.
• Base compensation: $60,000–$98,450 annually.
