Large Loss Contents – Inside Adjuster

Overview

Handle escalated, complex property contents and additional living expense claims remotely. Investigate coverage, estimate damages, communicate with customers and negotiate settlements.

What you'll do

• Handle escalated claims involving complex contents and ALE.
• Investigate losses and determine policy coverage.
• Collaborate with onsite vendors using video technology to identify damage.
• Prepare contents damage estimates.
• Communicate with customers throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers and claimants.
• Document claim activity accurately and coordinate with structure adjusters.

What you'll need

• 3+ years using estimating software such as Xactimate for complex contents estimating.
• Experience handling property insurance claims.
• Ability to manage 100+ inventory items per claim.
• Clear professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and independent working skills.

Details

• Remote work from home.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotational Saturday or Sunday duty.
• Annual base compensation: $60,000–$93,250 USD.
• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire.
