Overview

Python Big Data Developer to lead automation initiatives and build scalable validation and testing frameworks for ETL and data-intensive banking/financial services applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Python.
• Build reusable Python scripts and utilities for testing, validation, reconciliation, and operational automation.
• Lead testing and validation activities for ETL and data-intensive applications.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and data quality validation across large-volume datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams and use JIRA/Confluence for delivery tracking and documentation.

What you'll need

• 4-8 years of strong hands-on expertise in Python scripting and automation development.
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience developing reusable automation utilities and validation tools.
• Strong ETL testing and validation experience.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on Oracle database experience.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge with hands-on shell scripting experience.
• Hands-on use of JIRA and Confluence and understanding of Agile/Scrum.
