Python Developer - Remote in Brazil

Overview

Part-time, remote Python software engineering work on paid, project-based engagements for a leading AI lab.

What you'll do

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
• Implement new backend or full-stack functionality.
• Refactor and migrate existing systems.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

What you'll need

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of at least one additional language (Java, C#, or Go).
• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
• Advanced professional written proficiency in English.
