Python Engineer

Overview

Capco is hiring a Python Engineer to build scalable backend applications and services using Python.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable backend applications and services using Python.
• Write clean, efficient, production-grade Python code.
• Develop enterprise-grade backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Build technical solutions for complex business problems.

What you'll need

• 6–8+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong Python fundamentals, including OOP concepts.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, iterators/generators, decorators, and context managers.
• Knowledge of exception handling and concurrency.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, production-grade Python code.
• Good SQL skills for designing and optimizing database queries.
• Experience with software engineering principles, design patterns, testing, and debugging.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI/ML application development.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Exposure to GCP.
