QA Analyst (Banking)

Overview

QA Analyst supporting software quality for Corpay's Corporate Payments division in Chennai. The role combines manual testing, AI-assisted quality assurance, backend validation, and Playwright-based test automation.

What you'll do

• Clarify requirements, risks, and testable acceptance criteria in refinement sessions.
• Design test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, matrices, and results documentation.
• Execute functional, UI, API, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries, API responses, logs, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and document issues in Jira.
• Verify deployments, configuration changes, smoke tests, and post-deployment stability.
• Expand automation coverage using Playwright and improve QA processes with AI tools.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience testing complex applications and integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to use SQL and understand database tables, relationships, and stored procedures.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs with Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with TestRail, Jira, and Playwright.
• Ability to analyze logs, document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
