Quality Analyst – SDET (UI + API Automation)

Overview

Lead quality engineering for UI and API automation across test planning, release readiness, defect management, and CI/CD integration. The role supports Agile delivery for complex workflows and integration flows.

What you'll do

• Define test strategies, release plans, quality gates, and automation roadmaps.
• Oversee Selenium and REST API automation frameworks and coverage.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and reduce flaky tests.
• Coordinate functional, integration, SIT, UAT, and production validation testing.
• Lead defect triage and identify systemic quality risks.
• Report quality metrics, automation progress, and release readiness to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, BA, Engineering, and DevOps teams.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of total QA experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on automation experience.
• At least 2 years leading or mentoring QA teams.
• Strong Selenium WebDriver and REST API automation skills.
• Experience with framework design, CI/CD integration, SQL, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to work second shifts from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST and occasional weekends.
• Ability to work from the Bangalore office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• REST Assured experience.
• TMC or travel-domain experience.
• Knowledge of booking, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, reconciliation, and GDS integrations.

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Hybrid attendance: Bangalore office minimum 3 days per week.
• Second-shift schedule: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST.
