QA Automation Engineer

Overview

QA Automation Engineer responsible for designing and developing functional and automation test cases and owning QA requirements while working as an individual contributor in a cross-functional, global team.

What you'll do

• Understand requirements and design functional and automation test cases.
• Take ownership of QA requirements.
• Participate in team communication, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and development teams on delivery quality.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and others.
• Write use cases from product requirements, execute them, and report issues.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD and support SDLC automation activities.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation framework understanding and automation.
• Automation experience using Selenium WebDriver.
• Exposure to test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., ALM, Testrail, JIRA).
• Strong UI automation using Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing (manual and automation) using RestAssured frameworks and ReadyAPI.

• Location: Mumbai, PT office with a hybrid policy requiring 4 days onsite.
