QA Automation Engineer

Overview

QA Automation Engineer to establish and lead a QA function for an AI-native financial platform, building test automation frameworks, quality processes, and coverage across frontend, backend, APIs, and AI/ML components.

What you'll do

• Design and implement a comprehensive test automation framework from scratch.
• Build API test automation for REST, GraphQL, and related interfaces.
• Create frontend end-to-end testing using Playwright and/or Cypress.
• Establish CI/CD integration for automated testing and define release testing procedures.
• Lead QA hiring, team building (initially 2–5 engineers) and set QA standards, metrics, and KPIs.
• Develop AI/ML and LLM testing strategies, including validation of model outputs and agentic workflows.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of QA/test automation experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in QA/test automation.
• Expert-level test automation skills across API and UI/backend testing.
• Strong programming in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• CI/CD integration expertise with automated test pipelines.
• Security testing skills (SAST, DAST) and related compliance testing familiarity.
