QA Engineer I (Python, Automation Test, UI, Rest API)

Overview

QA Engineer I focused on testing and automating Web GUI and REST API functionality for the Mist Cloud platform.

What you'll do

• Test, validate, and automate Web GUI and REST API functionality for each release.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Python-based frameworks.
• Run staging smoke tests, production validations, and regression testing.
• Analyze Mist UI and API architecture to find gaps and suggest improvements for design, stability, and test coverage.
• Log, track, and manage defects and enhancements with developers for timely resolution.
• Maintain test plans and expand automation coverage for continuous regression testing.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• BE/ME/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong Python programming proficiency with solid fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and pytest frameworks.
• Experience testing Web applications and REST APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Onsite role with 5 days per week working from an HPE office.
