QA Engineer II (Python, Automation Test, UI, Rest API)

Overview

QA Engineer II designing and executing software quality assurance test processes for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware.

What you'll do

• Design quality assurance and test processes for assigned application/system portions.
• Analyze objectives to determine required test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities.
• Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and related documentation.
• Identify and debug issues in code and suggest changes or improvements.
• Participate with internal and outsourced partners to develop reliable, cost-effective testing solutions.
• Collaborate and communicate on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience using software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Knowledge of software testing methodology, including test plan execution, debugging, and testing scripts/tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of design for software/firmware running on multiple platform types.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and local language).

• Hybrid work mode with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
