Overview

QA Engineer responsible for manual, API/microservices, and database testing for Blue Yonder Network solutions (Transportation Planning/Execution and GLG) with integrated BY TMS.

What you'll do

• Perform functional and integration API testing for microservices using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Participate in design reviews to identify risks early in the SDLC and support testability.
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects in Jira with root-cause analysis.
• Execute exploratory tests and write automated scripts for long-term stability.
• Provide data-driven quality reporting on software health and release risk.
• Validate API behavior and data flow across supply chain databases using SQL.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
• Ability to write test plans and manage end-to-end test cases with requirement traceability.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira for bug tracking and reproducible defect reports.
• Experience leading defect triage meetings to align engineering and product teams.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL for data validation.
