Quality and Delivery Manager

Overview

Lead quality, delivery excellence and productivity improvement for a business-critical internal digital solution supporting the service business, working closely with Product Owners and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Own and drive the quality and delivery strategy for a digital solution to enable the service business.
• Establish and govern quality standards, delivery metrics and best practices across the SDLC.
• Ensure predictable, high-quality deliveries while balancing speed, risk and stability.
• Drive shift-left quality, automation-first thinking and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Product Owners on backlog readiness, acceptance criteria and release decisions.
• Guide teams on testable, scalable and maintainable architectures across Azure, .NET and React solutions.
• Ensure secure-by-design solutions and compliance with data protection and governance standards.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted tools to improve quality, delivery speed and productivity.
• Actively promote Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in software development, quality or delivery leadership roles.
• Strong experience with Azure-based platforms and modern application architectures.
• Solid understanding of .NET and React technology stacks.
• Proven track record in quality governance and delivery management for enterprise platforms.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
