Overview
QA Engineer III responsible for end-to-end quality for an assigned product module, component, service, or feature area.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end quality for an assigned module, component, service, or feature area.
- Develop a risk-based quality plan across functional, exploratory, API, database, integration, automation, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.
- Design and enhance Playwright automation using reusable fixtures, page/component objects, data-driven techniques, tagging, parallel execution, and reporting.
- Lead requirement reviews to identify ambiguity, missing acceptance criteria, dependencies, edge cases, and testability concerns.
- Diagnose complex failures and perform root-cause analysis for recurring defects, escaped defects, and automation instability.
- Track and communicate quality indicators and provide release-readiness recommendations with residual risks and trade-offs.
What you'll need
- Typically 3–6 years of software quality engineering experience.
- Strong experience in manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience designing maintainable automation suites rather than only individual test scripts.
- Experience with API automation, SQL, Git, pull-request reviews, and CI/CD integration.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery practices including requirement reviews, estimation, sprint testing, and release validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT/engineering (or equivalent experience).
